- Face Primer

A face primer is one of the best types of makeup to ensure everything stays on longer. They are relatively new products so few drugstore brands make primers. They pamper the skin and create a protective barrier. Primers are excellent for people with combination to oily skin. Just apply after moisturizing your face and let it sink into the skin for a few minutes before carrying on with your regular foundation routine.
2.Concealer
Used to cover any imperfections of the skin. Concealer is often used for any extra coverage needed to cover blemishes or any other marks. Concealer is often thicker and more solid than foundation, and provides longer lasting, and more detailed coverage. Some formulations of this type of makeup are meant only for the eye or only for the face.
3.Foundation
Foundation is the type of makeup you put everywhere on your face, to even out skin tone. Usually a liquid, cream, or powder, as well as most recently, a light and fluffy mousse, which provides excellent coverage as well.
4. Face powder
Face powder is the type of makeup used to set the foundation, giving a matte finish, and also to conceal small flaws or blemishes.
It is important to use this product properly. Get a good brush, and before applying, tap the extra powder off and buff it on. If you apply too much of it and don’t buff it, it can look weird. Mineral veil is meant as a topper coat over the foundation powder. The mineral veil topper powder will really make your skin look natural even in tone.
5. BB Cream
BB cream stands for blemish balm, and it’s really good for your skin. It covers redness, scars, pimples, etc, and depending on the BB cream, provides moisturizing, whitening, anti-aging, and SPF. When they say whitening, they don’t mean bleaching your skin, more like just lightening your skin.
It started in Germany as a cream for people who had undergone surgery, healing their skin. Then, Korean celebrities found it and they made it into BB cream that is like makeup. In fact, BB cream is one of the must have makeup tools in every kit! Nothing except BB cream gives the skin coverage, like a foundation, and heals it at the same time.
6. Rouge, blush or blusher, cheek coloring
A type of cosmetic typically used by women to redden the cheeks so as to provide a more youthful appearance and to emphasize the cheekbones.
7.Contour powder/creams
One of the types of makeup for defining the face. It gives the illusion of a slimmer face and can also modify a person’s face shape as desired. You’ll achieve the illusion of depth when you use one that is a few shades darker than one’s own skin tone and matte in finish. To achieve a more natural look, use a darker toned foundation/concealer instead.
8. Highlight
Used to draw attention to the high points of the face as well as to add glow to the face. It comes in liquid, cream, and powder form. Often contains shimmer, but sometimes does not. A lighter toned foundation/concealer can be used instead to create a more natural look.
9. Bronzer
Its a powder that you apply to your cheekbones forehead nose and chin to make you look tan without the risks of tanning under the sun, if you feel that you are too fair skinned. The bronzer is not like a tanning lotion because it does not leave a permanent residue on your face and can be easily washed off along with other makeup.
10. Setting Spray
Setting spray is used to keep applied makeup intact for long periods of time
11. Setting powder
Setting powder is used over a foundation to “set” and help the foundation stay on for longer periods of time. Types of makeup like this does not provide as much coverage as it has more of a loose powder effect.
